Being the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain it is no surprise to see various new titles on the subject. This one, entitled The Battle of Britain – the fight for survival in 1940 by Michael J.F. Bowyer. Originally produced by PSL for the 50th anniversary in 1990 the title has been updated and expanded and is now in a 400-page format with a laminated card cover. This is a well written and nicely illustrated account and it.
