The 2024 edition of this best‐selling annual publication builds on the long history and heritage of the title. First published in 1950, this will be the 75th edition of Civil Aircraft Markings (two editions were published in 1982). When ‘CAM’ first appeared all those years ago, the book quickly achieved the status it still retains as the go‐to source for up‐to‐date information on the constantly changing world of civil aviation.
CAM 2024 provides the most complete listing available of all the aircraft currently on the UK Civil Aircraft Register; around 19,000 aircraft are detailed in the UK register section alone, ranging from historic biplanes to the latest airliners and also balloons, gliders, microlights and helicopters. Additionally, Civil Aircraft Markings contains the latest civil aircraft registers of Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man and civil aircraft commonly visiting the UK from around the world are also listed. CAM 2024 also provides the common airline flight codes, radio frequencies for significant UK civil airfields, a cross-reference of civil aircraft carrying military markings and also has an updated list of those airliners which have been cancelled from the UK register over the past year – a feature introduced in the 2023 edition.
The new 2024 edition of Civil Aircraft Markings has been fully revised and updated as usual and it has a completely new photographic section.
